The
Law Firm of Lan Quoc Nguyen & Associates is a
general practice law firm located in Westminster, California, at the heart
of the Little Saigon district, home of the largest Vietnamese community
outside of Vietnam. The firm specializes in bad faith litigation, immigration,
criminal defense, plaintiff and defense personal injury, business litigation,
employment and family law. There are several attorneys in the firm: Lan Quoc
Nguyen, Edward S. Beneville, Timothy Hu, and Stephanie Thanh Truc Tran. On occasions, the
firm associates with attorneys Edmont T. Barrett and William H. Steiner

Mr. Nguyen holds a B.A. Degree in Political Science from U.C. Riverside and Juris Doctor Degree from U.C. Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. He is the managing attorney of the firm. His elected to the Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education. He is very active in the Vietnamese community, especially in advocating for legal rights of the Vietnamese refugees. In legal services, Mr. Nguyen, is very well known in the Vietnamese community through his works in hosting television and radio talk shows on legal affairs.

Mr. Beneville holds a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Cal. State Fullerton, California, and a Juris Doctor degree from University of Arizona. He has been a member of the California State Bar since 1990. He is also a member of the Arizona State Bar. Mr. Beneville handles most of the cases in business litigation, corporate and partnership disputes, debt collection and family law. |
| Mr.
Hu, a graduate of the UCLA School of Law, devotes his
practice exclusively to immigration law. He has argued cases before the
Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the United States
District Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to entering private practice, he was a staff attorney in the Immigration and Citizenship Unit of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, the largest organization in southern California providing Asians and Pacific Islanders with legal and social services. |

the firm associates with Mr. Steiner, it usually
calls upon his expertise in the areas of employment law, civil rights and
police misconduct. Mr. Steiner is a graduate of Hastings College of Law
(1973). He served as Regional Counsel for the Mexican American Legal Defense
& Educational Fund, Inc. (MALDEF) from 1977- 1980. He also served as
an Administrative Law Judge for the State of California (1982-1984). Mr.
Steiner is fluent in Spanish. With over 20 years of experience in civil
litigation and appeals, Mr. Steiner is another veteran attorney which the
